  • Dead Hot Sun CD tri-fold cover
Designed as a cardboard fold-over tri-fold with a interior pocket to hold the CD. The imagery was inspired by the dark melancholy that the music and lyrics portrayed. The illustrations were images converted to halftones and the type was handwritten.

  • On-pack recipe book
This tiny brochure folds into an inch and a half square and adhered to the Louis Kemp surimi tub. The goal was to promote the many types of Louis Kemp surimi and how they can be used in a variety of recipes. I designed this project and prepared the files for print production.

  • Turtle and Dove wedding logo
My sister gave me the honor of designing her invitations for her wedding. The Turtle and Dove logo was inspired by a handwritten birthday card my sister’s fiance made for her. The color scheme was a nod to the December wedding without being a holiday theme. The borders were a simplification of some of the mission architecture of the venue.

My sister loved the logo so much she made it her cake topper.

  • Sad Fish / Happy Fish illustration
Designed for a PowerPoint pitch to a new client. The sad fish represents that it's hard to grow your non-profit if you work with a small pool of donors to mail to. If you open yourself up to a larger pool of donors, you will be able to grow more effectively, like the happy fish.

I was experimenting with some different ideas in magazine layout and had this funny concept of having to enjoy summer on the cheap. It's amazing that this idea seems relevant every five to ten years.
